Important Information about our Onondaga County Crisis Residence Program
On August 26, 2025, our Onondaga Crisis Residence Program, also known as Nova House, will temporarily move to 1437 Burnet Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13206. This temporary relocation will allow us to renovate the program’s permanent location at 3429 James Street, enhancing our guest experience through accessibility features and additional rooms.
- REFERRAL & INTAKE INFORMATION: There is no change to our referral or intake process as a part of our relocation. Please continue to call 315-870-3740 for placement in our Onondaga Crisis Residence Program.
- GUEST MAXIMUM: Our temporary location can support up to four (4) guests at this time.
- CRISIS RESIDENCE IN OTHER COUNTIES: We operate three additional Crisis Residence Programs that you can contact for support and/or placement:

- MOBILE CRISIS: Anyone experiencing a mental or behavioral health or substance use crisis can call 315-251-0800 for support through Liberty Resources’ Mobile Crisis Team.
Our Crisis Residence Programs are designed to provide a temporary, supportive environment that helps guests avoid hospitalization or inpatient facilities. Guests can stay for up to 28 days with the goal of reintegrating into the community with the best possible supports.
