The Liberty Resources Center for Brain Injury and Rehabilitation is a community-based program that provides supports and services to assist individuals who have sustained a traumatic brain injury with successful inclusion within their community. The goal of this program is to achieve successful inclusion into one’s community. The center offers supports in the following areas: Service Coordination/Case Management, Independent Living Skills, Structured Day Program, Positive Behavioral Intervention Support Services, Community Integration Counseling, Community Transition Services and Home and Community Support Services. Residential and community based programs are offered.

Our current program is located in Cortland, New York. Our program is specifically designed to meet the needs of individuals requiring cognitive, physical, emotional, and behavioral rehabilitation in regards to the challenges they may face associated with their brain injury.

Services are provided through the Home and Community-based Medicaid Traumatic Brain Injury (HCBS/TBI) waiver and are regulated by the New York State Department of Health.  The program also provides services for individuals with other insurances such as New York State Insurance Fund, New York State Workman’s Compensation and private pay.
