Cayuga County Mobile Crisis Team
For assistance, call (315) 253-0341 or (315) 251-0800.
Cayuga County Community Mental Health offers a crisis line during evenings, weekends, and holidays. When you call the main telephone line (315) 253-0341, outside regular business hours, your call will be forwarded to Contact Community Services for screening by their trained crisis line staff.
The Contact Community Services provides a confidential Hotline number, (315) 251-0800, offering “A safe place to talk things out”. This line is intended for those times when you just need someone to talk to. Professional Mental Health Center staff will provide consultation as required. Mobile Crisis will be offered for individuals showing signs of behavioral or mental health issues that pose a threat to one’s stability within their home or community. We’re mobile, so we come out in the community to evaluate, prevent and resolve crisis.
Cayuga County Mobile Crisis
The Cayuga County Mobile Crisis Team is composed of local, trained mental health professionals that can provide after-hours crisis services for children and adults. Mobile Crisis was created to provide crisis intervention and support to individuals dealing with a behavioral or mental health crisis. Until now, individuals have had no choice but to go to CPEP or the Emergency Room after hours due to lack of resources.
Contact your local mental health clinic or law enforcement (9-1-1) and ask for “Mobile Crisis” support.
