Intellectual Disability Services
Community Habilitation provides 1:1 support for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Activities and opportunities are built into the individualized planning for each person that will assist them in becoming more independent.
Day programming is provided for eligible individuals through two programs – one in Madison County and the other in Onondaga County. Participation is either full time or part time depending on a person’s needs.
Liberty Resources operates fourteen Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs) located throughout Madison and Onondaga Counties. In these residential settings, 4-6 individuals live with staff support to increase their participation in the activities of their daily lives.
Supports for Employment serves individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, visual impairments and traumatic brain injury, functioning as an employment agency that provides job opportunities and development in several counties including Onondaga, Madison and Oswego.
Self-Direction is a service option that allows individuals with a developmental disability, along with their parents or advocates, to exercise choices around the types of supports and services they receive and from whom they receive them. Liberty Resources provide self-direction services in several counties including Onondaga, Madison, Cayuga, Cortland and Oswego.
