Welcome to Liberty Resources' webpage! I am pleased that you are visiting this site to learn more about our dynamic and growing organization. Founded in 1979 as a provider of Mental Health services to residents of Madison County, NY, we have greatly expanded our scope and capacity in terms of both programs and geography. But the underpinning of our original purpose remains the same today: high quality, community-based services for the people we serve.

From our humble beginnings serving less than 50 people annually, we now provide shelter, treatment, assistance, counseling and support to over 5,000 individuals and families.

When people ask me what Liberty Resources does, I often respond with two words... "Manage Diversity". This diversity resides in the various populations we serve be it Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, Children and Youth, Domestic Violence or individuals living with AIDS. We also provide a diverse array of clinical and residential services with the intent of being different. This difference is manifest in the outcomes we achieve, the clients we are willing to serve and the self imposed Excellence we strive for every day.

We view ourselves as a Corporate Citizen, regardless of where we provide services. And importantly, we view our funders not as regulators or contractors, but as true partners. We strive to be different in the belief that sound business practices and working with Government entities is in the best interest of our Communities, our clients and our partners. It is this divergent organizational thinking that has resulted in our continued success. Most importantly, it manifests itself in the successes our clients achieve for themselves every day.
