Liberty Resources Expands Pharmacy Services through Genoa Healthcare

New partnership allows patients the opportunity to fill medications onsite at Liberty Resources Integrated Health Care Center.

August 2018 – Syracuse, N.Y. – Genoa Healthcare and Liberty Resources announced the opening of an onsite pharmacy within the Liberty Resources Integrated Health Care center located at 1045 James Street, Syracuse, N.Y. Genoa Healthcare is the largest provider of pharmacy, telepsychiatry, and medication management services for individuals with behavioral health or other complex, chronic health conditions.  Liberty Resources Integrated Health Care center .  The multi-disciplinary team of licensed mental health clinicians, physicians and medical professionals all work collaboratively to achieve positive health outcomes.  The addition of the onsite Genoa Pharmacy creates another valuable layer to Liberty’s integrated health care model and will greatly assist Liberty’s clients in meeting their individual health goals.

A 2016 peer-reviewed study published in the Journal of Managed Care and Specialty Pharmacy showed that integrated care models that feature onsite pharmacies produce higher medication adherence rates than community pharmacies, as well as lower rates of hospitalization and lower emergency department utilization. In fact, Genoa Healthcare’s consumers average more than a 90 percent adherence rate.
